1 DAY TRIP NAIROBI MUSEUM-NATIONAL ARCHIVES-NAIROBI GALLERY

Start the day early at 9:00am visit Nairobi museum located in Nairobi museum hill, the museum contains exhibits of African Kenyan traditional cultures and also the early man, butterfly, birds, mammals, fishes. It also has a snake park that has different types of snakes and other reptiles including crocodiles and tortoises. After all this head back to the cbd where you visit the national archives.

At the archives, is a collection of documents, and historical significant items. It also houses the murumbi gallery that contains African artifacts that were collected in the 19th century. After this have lunch in one of the hotels in town enjoying the Kenyan cuisine eg.nyamachoma.

Later in the afternoon visit Nairobi gallery located right in the heart of Nairobi city next to nyayo house, it’s a collection of jewelry, textiles and rare books. There is also a mix of artefacts from different parts of Africa, there is also photography, paintings, and it’s just spectacular. Till late evening then return to hotel.
