Activities will involve taking a walk by the shore of the lake and a boat ride whereby you will get an opportunity to see all the animals that rely on the lake, such as hippos, antelopes, different species of birds, and much more.
After breakfast, you will depart and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara. You will stop at Narok Town for lunch. The transit time is approximately five hours. You will arrive for check in and afternoon rest. Later around 3:30 p.m., you will go for a game drive in the park, which is essentially in the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park as an artificial border only separates the two. Dinner and overnight will be at the campsite.
This will be a full day of tracking game with your guide, after an early breakfast. The Mara’s landscape is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores, together with the predators that follow. Elephant, lion, and buffalo can be seen with relative ease, though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are timid and sparsely numbered.
This is a season of the migration whereby you see more than a million wildebeest thousands of zebras and topis. Masai giraffe abounds as well as hippos and a wide variety of antelopes, including impala, dik-dik, and Thomson’s gazelle among others. You will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool. In the evening, you will return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.
On this day, you will go for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Then return to the camp for breakfast and get ready to depart the Mara Region to Amboseli. You will arrive in the evening, with game drive en route to the camp, time for check in, evening rest dinner, and overnight at the camp.
After an early breakfast, your packed lunch will be ready for a full-day game drive in this park. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of buffaloes, and many other animals including giraffes, African lions, leopard, monkeys, zebras, hyenas, and many species of antelopes.
You will wake up for an early-morning game drive. The morning light will reveal Mount Kilimanjaro and turn its snow into an ethereal pink. Herds of elephants crossing the plains to be seen with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop.
